As we all know, Halloween is just round the corner and what better to prepare for it than to carve your own pumpkins.
There are many styles that you can carve a pumpkin. But which one will you choose? A scary one? Funny? Strange? Artistic? It’s all down to preference and skill. Anyone can carve out two eyes and a mouth and stick a candle in there, but how many people can make you say wow?
There are in fact artists who specialise in carving pumpkins. Most of them are just sculptors who are experimenting on other materials. But I found this artist ‘Ray Villafane‘ who has some really creative work with pumpkins and other mediums.
Seems like this is the new ‘In’ thing this month. An artist has redesigned the way we think of the human form. It’s actually quite funny and very cleaver. By taking someone’s nose and drawing an outline of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle around it the tip of the nose is a perfect shape and dimension of them.
The big rumour that Apple named the new iPhone 4S after Steve Jobs is unclear. We might never find out that it was named 4Steve.
But as this quickly escalated around the internet there is mixed views on whether it should be named in loving memory of Steve Jobs. Does the S in 4S stand for Speed? Or should it stand for Steve? For everything that he has done for the company, I think that Apple should rename it 4Steve.
I hereby propose that the iPhone 4S be named as the iPhone 4Steve. Please sign this petition to get it trending and apple might even change it!
Steve Jobs the co-founder and former chief executive of Apple has died at the age of 56.
As most people seen this coming, Steve Jobs got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003, and after three periods of sickness leave, resigned as Apple CEO in August 2011. This unfortunately ended his life. How will Apple cope now?
It has been reported that the new iPhone 4S was named for Steve Jobs himself. The 4 (for) and S (Steve). was this coincidence? Or did they see it coming? Is it some kind of plan to drive more sales in the memory of Steve jobs?
That’s what I wish they sent me, but unfortunately they didn’t. Below is the email I did however receive.
Firstly, I would like to apologise for the delay in responding to you.
I’m very sorry that you were unhappy with quality of the Tesco Wholemeal Pitta Breads that you purchased in your local store.I appreciate how disappointing this must have been for you.
First of all, please let me assure you that we only buy the highest quality produce from our suppliers. Our staff also inspect our produce when it arrives from our distribution depots and while it is on sale in our stores, to make sure that it is in perfect condition. I can only apologise that, despite these measures, you still experienced a problem.
Once again, I would like to apologise and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Tesco Customer Service
So they apologise countless amount of times and don’t really give a reason for my my product was mouldy. They basically say that they buy the highest quality products from their suppliers, then they check the produce when it arrives in their depot and in store to make sure it’s in perfect condition. According to that, then they didn’t do their jobs to the high standards to what they are stating surely?
Should I reply? Comment below and let me know what you think.

So I decided today that I wanted a new hosting server for this site. But which one shall I choose? Also, as the domain name is still wordpress.com I was going to buy a ‘.co.uk’ or ‘.com’.
Many hosting servers provide you with a ‘free’ domain name. The ‘free’ part will be included in the overall bill, obviously. So I was thinking that I might as well pay for a hosting server. Searched for cheap hosting sites and got a ‘top 10’ list. Had a look and most were similar prices. They say things like £1.95 per month, but the catch is either that it is only for the first month and you pay £6 for the duration of the contract. Or one site said it costs £1.90 per month…for 60 months! That’s 5 years! Thus paying something like £140 (inc VAT) upfront! Yes. Upfront! Not paying per month. All the sites I looked at wanted payment upfront. No monthly payment plans at all. Shocking.
Besides that, I found one site called Fatcow.com that seemed a decent price. £30 upfront for a year wasn’t too bad, including a domain name and ‘unlimited’ disk space and bandwidth so on, so forth. Within reason, the terms and conditions say. It’s only for personal and small businesses. So I guess that using it for some sort of file sharing website would be against their policy. Also many of these sites run off ‘wind power’, not that this would make me buy their service any more. So ‘Fatcow’, I decided to have a chat with them.
They have a ‘live chat’ window for your queries, which I took advantage of.
